Pam Dehnke
Welcomes you to Nightingale’s Inn in Ashland, Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, one of the oldest and largest professional regional repertory theatre companies in the United States.
Pam first came to Ashland as a college student in 1981. She fell in love with the community and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 2014 she purchased Nightingales Inn.
Upon retiring from her career as a court reporter and relocating to Ashland with her partner, Darrell James, Pam returned to her first love, writing. She has five books being launched this year, 2024. Please visit her website, pamdehnke.com, for more information on her novels.
Pam is proud to announce that she is the President Elect of the Tudor Guild, a seventy-five-year-old non-profit organization supporting OSF. She’ll take office in January 2025, and in her words, “2025 will bring Ashland back on the map as the Playground of the Pacific Northwest. Tourists will be flocking back to see OSF productions, and the Tudor Guild will flourish.”
The Tudor Guild has resurrected the previous Backstage Tours, currently known as the Campus Tours, where visitors are regaled with the history and anecdotes of each theatre. The tours are very special to Pam as she assisted with rewriting scripts and getting the project off the ground. See more about Pam at: www.pamdehnke.comr.
Darrell James
Is also an Award Winning Author of Mystery/Thrillers. He hails originally from Nothern Kentucky, and has lived more than thirty years collectively in Arizona and California. He too is a father and grandfather. He loves the creative arts and has peformed for a number of years in community theatre.
